Tukums Rally, Latvia. 23rd

Junior Rally.

Mike Scrimgour travelled to Latvia to co-drive for Dom Scott, son of Gary Mike's regular driver. Dom became the youngest ever british driver at just over 14yrs.
Using the 1400 Nova, the car was the smallest car in the field but produces over 190bhp. 2 stages ran on the Saturday night saw the pair up to 70th o/all (108 starters) and leading british junior.
6 more stages saw Dom move up to 53rd and but for gearbox problems on the last stage would have finished top brit, only beaten by Tom Clark (super 1600 Ignis) by 1 second.
Dom had shown great maturity and professionalism in his first ever rally.
He now aims to compete twice more this year before a full championship next year.
