Quinton Stages Rally. BTRDA 1400 Championship.

Neil is argubly the fastest 1400 driver in the country, and with the Nova fitted with a new 'dog'  box they would take the fight to series leader Darren Pinchin, Proton, and Graham Middleton, Suzuki.

   The gravel stages of Epynt are used for the rally and the day started dry. By stage 2 the dye was set, Middleton led Weaver by 6 secs and Weaver led Pinchin by over 10. Stage 3 saw the top two match times but the Nova was having gearbox problems again. Stage 4 and the Nova snapped a drive shaft losing about 45secs.

 Then on stage 5 Middleton loses a wheel and his rally is run. With the gearbox not ideal but still working Weaver consolidated his slim lead over Pinchin.

 By stage 8 the gearbox is working fine again||| and takes 40secs off Pinchin to win class by over a minute. Neil and Mike pick up a long awaited BTRDA goblet.
